Profession: ESL Online Tutor
English Language Instruction
I've taught over 5600 ESL sessions, once for three companies at a time! I'm reliable. I review previous work I've done with my students, and sometimes, become a family friend. I've created an interactive program, guiding my students around Boulder!
Interests: Life is about Stories. I love to write and sell stories, from Feature Articles to a novel- even a book about my first year of ESL teaching, Good Job! You Get A Star. I write songs and came to Boulder to play live music. I am also developing some video games.
I teach LeoTech online, a program I create, using the Montessori Method of catching your interests; I guide my student around Boulder, to see trails, museums, labs, and people hard at work. I have years of tutoring experience, including three years for Chinese companies. I went to California with $450, a guitar, and a bag of clothes, and lived in San Diego over eight years. I won a National Merit Scholarship and Presidential Scholarship that opened college for me. I've done some acting, and written professionally- including writing and drawing a comic book with my talented wife, Teacher Angela.
I have had some terrific laughs with my students over the years, and built lasting friendships with many families. I value education, as well as its real world applications. I love to help others adjust and adapt; it's fun to support young people in the quest to understand and improve.
