I worked as a customer support agent on the phone for 4 years during my bachelors degree. I got to talk to some interesting people all over the world while fixing their computers!

I was a math tutor for a 4th grader in Germany for almost a year while I was in High school in Germany.

While I was studying at the University in Utah I got to work on some really interesting research projects about mental health and environmental sustainability. Research was my focus in psychology, so I love talking about any scientific research!

Interesses: My mother is Turkish, so I've been helping her with her English since I was a baby. I also grew up bilingual in English and German so I know how it feels to struggle to express yourself sometimes. My boyfriend is Hungarian, and while he is teaching me basic Hungarian, I've been helping him improve his English and learn some of the bigger words and complex phrases. I'm especially used to explaining weird American idioms to him (every language has funny phrases we use all the time that don't make sense to foreigners!) and some more colloquial slang for fun.

My hobbies are climbing, slacklining, and all types of art, like sculpting, painting, drawing or making music.

I also really like to learn new languages and travel so I would love to hear about your home town, or maybe you can teach me some words in your native language while we practice English. :)

I went to the University of Utah and received my bachelor's degree in spring of 2021. I majored in psychology with an emphasis on developmental and social psychology. My minor was environmental sustainability, because I'm also an environmentalist.
