Education Coordinator in Refugee Resettlement

I organized and conducted orientations and school enrollment for recently resettled refugees. I also coordinated and managed the Refugee School Impact Program, assistant taught middle and high-school summer classes.

兴趣: I have a Master's Degree in Anthropology and I spend over 3 years working with refugees and immigrants in the U.S. and Canada. I received my English Teaching certification in 2019.

I enjoy traveling to different countries and learning about different cultures. I spend a lot of time in nature either hiking or camping. I enjoy historical fiction, classical literature, fantasy, and science fiction. I like playing soccer and watching baseball. I also spend my free time knitting and sewing. I love learning about history, art, anthropology, archaeology, primatology, science, astronomy, and physics.

Research
I received a Master's degree in applied socio-cultural anthropology. After two years of classes and research, I wrote an internship paper on the relationship between US cultural values and the US refugee resettlement program.
