I was the main English teacher for the English department in a privately owned language school in Saipan for 2 years. My students were mainly adults and high school students.

I teach private students both face to face and online. My students are: Jr. High School, High School and adults.

兴趣: I have lived in several different countries. I speak several languages and I understand the difficulties of learning a new language. I've travelled frequently and enjoy experiencing different cultures.

An interesting thing about my life is that I've lived on a remote and isolated tropical island for over 35 years. I have many interesting stories to tell about life there!

Favorite evening pastimes are reading and watching YouTube documentaries about science, travel adventure and more.

Some of my hobbies include camping, trekking and observing nature, nature journaling, photography and filmmaking.

I also enjoy sewing and crochet. I love to cook and discover new and tasty dishes. Gardening is another activity I’m interested in. As a matter of fact, here in Japan I plant rice!


I’m also a certified Shinrin Yoku therapy guide and Life Coach.

Another favorite activity of mine is talking to people. One of the most wonderful things I can think of is to have a conversation with a stranger and to learn a bit about life from their perspective.

I received my Shinrin Yoku Guide certification from Wildcraft Forest School in Canada. I’m trained to guide people in various Shinrin Yoku practices and teach them how to connect with nature in ways that support mental and physical wellness.
