I received my Master's Degree from the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK. My degree is in ethnobotany (how people around the world use plants). I did research for four months in Okinawa, Japan.

I received my Bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Anthropology, (the study of human cultures).
