In this role I was responsible for creating plans of progression for individual students depending on their needs, teaching this content in engaging and innovative ways, assessing this progress, and making changes to my practice when necessary.
Private Tutor
Education
I have been a Private Tutor on two separate occasions, and both were concerned with Language Difficulties. In these roles, I worked with the children to improve their literacy skills - be it oral language, reading, or writing - through 1:1 lessons.
Mainstream Class Teacher
Education
I also have experience as a Whole Class/Mainstream teacher in a Primary School. In this role, I was responsible for the learning of all children in the class. This experience strengthened my skills in classroom management and organisation.
Interests: I am a qualified Primary School Teacher here in Ireland. I have 2 years teaching experience and a TEFL Degree as well as my Bachelor of Education.

I completed a 4-year Bachelor of Education degree, where I gained extensive experience in teaching methodologies and philosophies. I also specialised in Special Needs Education, meaning I have deeper knowledge in teaching children 1:1 too.
120-Hour TEFL Certificate
English Language Instruction
I completed this course in addition to similar modules in my B.Ed Degree to complement my knowledge in this area. Through this certificate, I gained insight into specific struggles for EAL Learners and how to best address these.
