I have worked as a big-sister, tutor and teacher to students in grades 1-6. Subjects: English, French, Math, Science, History, Geography, Ethics, Music and Art.

I taught ESL, English, Core and Extended French, History, Geography, World Religions and Travel and Tourism to Students grades 7-12. I also helped students master study skills and techniques to help them learn independently.

Language Partner

I was a Language Partner to Exchange Students from Hong Kong for 3 months. I provided guidance and support so that they would feel safe and comfortable in a new cultural environment. We engaged in in/formal conversation and are still in touch today.

I have created and contributed to study groups at university. I have also worked in restaurants, book stores, a pharmacy, and as a secretary providing excellent customer service and support. I was frequently in charge of training new staff.

Intérêts: I love kayaking, hiking, swimming, riding my bike, playing games and team sports, dancing, knitting, colouring, chatting with family and friends, cooking delicious food, feeling the sun on my face, getting lost in a good book or a foreign show, organizing, problem-solving, volunteering, journaling, rearranging furniture, tarot, astrology, astronomy, nature, learning new languages and about new cultures and peoples as well as ancient civilizations and possible extra-terrestrials, philosophizing about life, the universe and everything, and playing with my cat!
