I created and edited a literary magazine, The Lincoln Underground, for ten years (2011-2021). We published writers, poets, and artists. I also hosted writing workshops, open mic nights, and reading events at a local coffeeshop.

الاهتمامات: Hi! My name is Amy and I live in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. I love learning about cultures and languages. I have a 120-Hour TESOL Certificate from ITTT, and I have volunteered teaching online and in person TEFL classes for six months.

I am currently studying Korean and Japanese. I am a high beginner in these languages, and an intermediate Spanish speaker. I hope to travel to these countries and more. I have had a variety of jobs, from starting and editing a literary magazine for ten years, to working in accounting for seven years. I have also hosted open mic nights for poets and musicians in a local coffee shop. In my free time, I like to read novels, collect kawaii animals, foster kittens with my family, and listen to all kinds of music. I especially like K-pop: my family went to a BTS concert in Los Angeles, SUGA's concert in Chicago, and I'm currently listening to a lot of SF9 and Mamamoo.

I enjoy meeting new people of all ages and hearing their stories, and making a welcoming, kind place for them. I look forward to helping students feel comfortable and confident in their English speaking, and having fun while learning. I hope to hear from you soon!
