I co-taught English to students in three elementary schools in South Korea from 2017 to 2020. I also conducted summer camp on an island. In my final year, classes switched to online. These sessions raised pupil’s participation and confidence.

Collaborated with staff, assessed Key Children, and supported EAL. Performed fun and festive activities raising awareness of cultures. Updated newsletter & policies, typed up reports. Produced templates and signs for around the setting.

Conducted literacy tests, benchmarking, marked tests, class & homework. Performed interventions with an EAL group. Assessed 1:1 through weekly reports. Produced resources to improve areas of shortfall. Kept the child's carers informed daily.

Organised and conducted English Lessons for ages 5 to 16. Applied knowledge of other languages to reassure children settling into the camp routine. Helped staff balance ratio by managing sports activities safely in small groups.

興趣: I would like to share a little about my journey into teaching and some hobbies. This way you can learn more about me.

My path into teaching began in a day nursery in a Caribbean Centre. I read stories, sang songs, and helped the children practice the alphabet and counting in bite-size. I also assisted staff with forming displays when special festivals occurred on the calendar raising cultural awareness.

I wanted to develop as a teacher more in primary education and applied to an agency. I got to support English Additional Language and Special Needs students in various grades.

I had the chance to tutor these ages abroad in Southern Spain, South Korea and South America in person and online. I witnessed a great improvement in my students comprehension and participation. I am eager to continue virtual education to reach people globally.

I have always enjoyed learning about different countries, cultures, cuisines, and history. While in retail and education l got to work with people from different backgrounds. I could relate to them better because I knew about their countries or neighbouring ones. As a result, we conversed well and learned something new.

I like geography and exploring ways to form an eco-friendly lifestyle. I appreciate visiting museums and historical sites.
I often take photos of beautiful landscapes that inspire me to create paintings.

I also enjoy learning how to play traditional instructions such as the steelpan, kayagum (Korean zither), and ruan (Chinese lute).

Like you, I am learning a language and continue developing previous ones I was exposed to. I am currently, practicing two native dialects: Navajo and Quechua.
