Worked for 7 years in auto and home insurance as a service broker.

Interesses: I am a Mom of 2 boys, preschool and toddler age. I stay at home with them allowing me flexibility to be able to come here and help others learn English. I also run two of my own side businesses: photography and crafting.

My husband and I both come from a European background. My family is from Portugal and I speak basic Portuguese. I also learnt Spanish through school and can speak basic Spanish as well. My husband's family is from the Czech Republic and although I cannot speak Czech, I am around this language and can pick up things here and there. Living in Canada, although I probably should know more, I have picked up a bit of French as well.

Before kids, my husband and I travelled quite a bit. We have been to Europe and south of the USA as well.

I initially went to school for Radio Broadcasting and also took courses as a Paralegal and public speaking. Before deciding to stay home, I did work in the financial industry, specifically in Insurance for 7 years.

My work experience along with home life, gives me an incredible amount of patience and you could say I am already teaching my little guys to speak as well!

I look forward to having casual conversation with my students to help them learn real world English.
