I am Irish (don’t worry, some English learners think we have a very strong accent). Well, I’m glad to say my students have always loved and even said how much they like my accent. While my accent is Irish as I spent the first 18 years of my life in Ireland, I would describe my accent as being quite neutral and easy to understand.
I have lived in numerous different European countries, this is perhaps why my accent has become more neutral over the years.
I have worked most of my working life involved in the language industry. I have been teaching English for some 20 years now. I have even taught levels A1 to A2 in French, as well as A1 to B2 in Spanish!
I have a wide range of interests. In addition to discovering and learning more about other cultures, I love food (eating and cooking!), travel, mountains, skiing...
