In this position, I worked one-on-one with people to get them fluent in English. We focused on pronunciation and flow of speech, as well as learning to think in English instead of trying to translate! My students saw great improvement this way.

I have worked at this seasonal position since 2017. Here I was responsible for supervising youth ages 10-17 while teaching them about marine sciences. A big part of this job was uplifting each person and giving them confidence to be themselves.
