Education
While in college I tutored incarcerated youth and adults at the Riker's Island jail in New York. I believe that people deserve access to education and to better opportunities to improve their lives. I worked to support a marginalized community.

Librarian and After school Instructor

I currently co-run a library in West Africa. It is a free lending library that distributes books to those that do not otherwise have access to them. I also run an afterschool educational program for local children in the community.

Speech Therapy Assistant Volunteer

For many years, I worked to help children and adolescents improve their social and communication skills. I volunteered at a speech clinic where we helped people improve their accents and pronunciation but also various other aspects of communication.

兴趣: I am from the beautiful sunny state of California in the United States of America. I currently live in Burkina Faso, West Africa where I run a library and an afterschool educational program for primary/ elementary school children. I have traveled and lived in various parts of Africa and Latin America. I love language, literature, and cross-cultural exchange! I also enjoy working with children and young people and have experience working in schools and speech clinics. During my free time, I like to read, play video games, go swimming, travel and explore new places, cook, and bake desserts.
