I was a pre-school and kindergarten teacher in Japan for seven years, Mexico for one year, and the United States for one year. In these jobs, I was able to work with many non-native English speakers.

Elementary Classroom Teacher

I worked in the US Private and Public school systems for 3 years. I taught all subjects to 3rd and 5th graders.

English Conversation Teacher

I was an English Conversation teacher in Japan for three years. I worked with children as young as 1 year old all the way up to retired adults who wanted to brush up on their English for travel.

Newspaper Reporter

I minored in Journalism in University and worked for a short time as a new reporter for a small-town newspaper.

兴趣: My passions are theater, acting, and cheerleading. I studied acting from a young age, and while I prefer theater and musicals, I have had small rolls in a few movies. I also was a cheerleader when I was younger and I am a former cheerleading coach. I love sports of all kind, especially basketball and hockey. I am a mom to a an elementary-aged son and we love to play board games and go skateboarding together. I also love writing and have been working on short stories and novels since I was in University.

I went back to school and completed a Teaching Certification Program, which led to my current certification in teaching Pre-School through 8th Grade.
