I worked 6 months on phone lines and through email to assist international students and their families with matters regarding US student immigration documentation and school resources.

Intérêts: I’m a graduate student and English tutor with a patient, kind yet also goofy personality. The thing I do the most in my spare time is read, especially fanfiction and short novels. I have spent many late nights scrolling through stories in my favorite fandoms on Ao3. I have also written some fanfics of my own! My hobbies also include cooking up experimental recipes, working out, watching anime and horror movies, reading BL manga/manhua and meditating. While learning to meditate, I actually spent an entire month in residency at a Rinzai Zen temple in Japan and several months at a Zen monastery in the USA. Apparently, sitting still and doing nothing is actually very difficult! I’m also passionate about international exchange and education, which is why I'm doing a Master's program in Global Studies with the goal of becoming a study abroad education assistant.
