I worked on the "Medical Surgical" floor for the first two years after graduating. After we moved to TX I did travel nursing for a few months, and most recently, have worked in a nursing home.

I have just started teaching CPR and first aid classes! I love helping people feel confident giving chest compressions, breaths, and administering first aid. My goal is for my students to be certain they will know how to help someone in an emergency.

兴趣: I'm a wife, mother of a baby girl, and nurse who has recently started teaching first aid classes, and am excited to be an English tutor as well! As a kid, I learned Portuguese while spending 15 years in Brazil where my parents did medical missions. I grew up being home schooled (along with 4 other siblings), playing soccer, volleyball, and a LOT of street games, swimming in tributaries off the Amazon River, fishing (you could catch 10 fish and they would all be different), and making lots of pizza with friends. When at home, I enjoy playing with our daughter (and any other kids I know!), doing any kind of craft such as crocheting, knitting, scrap booking (many projects of which have been started and need to be finished :o), and reading. Recently I have been getting into running, though I admit to enjoying how I feel after the run more than the run itself :)
