Mr. Tod

Profession: Teacher
Teaching
Years ago, I taught science to public school 5th and 6th graders (10 to 12 year-olds) in a ghetto in a major US city.

Resident Scholar/Teacher
Research
For over a decade, I have been (and continue to be) a scholar in residence of Ancient Near Eastern histories and cultures for a men's weekly consortium

Jack of All Trades
Operations
I "wore many hats" in my first twenty years of adulthood, including:
conservation worker, mover,
soldier,
federal food inspector (in Europe),
college student,
store manager,
Fortune 500 Co. B2B salesman,
and
Long-term live-in caregiver, et al.

Interests: I've been labeled a bit of a conversationalist, especially when the topics wend toward history, culture, trivia, and the like. I enjoy walking, bicycling, birdwatching, drawing and illustrating, reading, listening to classical and, of course, being a Gen X-er, the occasional 80s and 90s hits are a must! What do π™”π™Šπ™ like to listen to and watch and do? You'll have to share that with me, soon. ; )

Also, I have an absolute RASCAL of a cat; he's an excellent mouser, and loves hijinks - he's ALWAYS up to somethin' - always has somethin' brewin', except when he's sleeping, which for the neighborhood's sake is a good thing that's half the day! He accomplishes much on 𝙗𝙀𝙩𝙝 sides of his eyelids!

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Education
My university major was History with emphasis in medieval and modern European and American histories, while including a year of both Chinese and Russian histories and cultures.

Spoken Languages: английский (Native), французский (Basic), Π½Π΅ΠΌΠ΅Ρ†ΠΊΠΈΠΉ (Conversational)
