Intérêts: Hi! My name is Michael and I am a native English teacher from the United Kingdom. I am currently employed as a university lecturer in one of the top 10 universities in Thailand. I teach many forms of English, such as Basic English, Business English, English for Medicine, and many more.

I went to primary and secondary school in the UK and graduated. I then went straight to work in the healthcare industry and did my degree in Health & Social Care part-time while working. Next, I did a Cambridge English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) certificate in the UK. Finally, I moved to Thailand.
As for my hobbies, I like to play the drums and the ukulele. I like to watch science-fiction movies and documentaries and like socializing with friends.

I started my career teaching English to UK immigrants and then spent 10 years teaching children English, maths, science, and health education in primary school. Next, I had 3 years of teaching English online to Chinese students with a well-known company in China. Finally, I moved to teach English at a university where I have taught students aged 19+ for the last 4 years.

As for suggestions to students, I would say that learning does not only take place in the classroom. Take what you have learned in the classroom and practise it to consolidate and remember what you have learned.
