I have taught English as a foreign language for over 20 years. Now I’m teaching at a government school in Thailand. Before this I taught in various situation in Tokyo Japan.

관심 분야: From 2001 until 2020, I lived in Tokyo Japan. It went very quickly and was an amazing time. I learned to speak Japanese (though I need to work on it) and for most of my time, was a participant/performer in a theater company called Gekidan Kaitaisha. Japan is an amazing country. I didn't travel so much within the country as I was primarily interested in staying in one place. And, Tokyo is a country in itself. It's so big! And the Japanese are such amazingly creative people. It's like a completely different dimension to Thailand where I am now. What I miss in my job now is teaching adults and encouraging good conversation with people working in different fields. One private job I had was to teach the boss of a very big and quite famous legal office. At first I taught just him and had some great conversations. In the end he had me teaching all the new lawyers just starting out in the company. This went on for several years and it was always a pleasure to help these young lawyers to practice their English.
