My sophomore year of college, I served as a mentor to first-generation undergraduate students on campus. While in this role, I tutored two of my mentees (pre-med majors) in math and science.

During my junior and senior years, I helped first-year Honors students matriculate into life on campus. This included mentoring and tutoring.

兴趣: I am a medicinal herb farmer and data analyst who loves to write, read, learn, dance, and sing. I am an avid runner and fitness enthusiast who loves to teach about what I learn.

I am currently learning two programming languages- SQL and Python. My love for languages goes beyond human languages (although human languages are my favorite).

I have travelled throughout the U.S., to Central America, the Carribean, Africa, and Europe. I love to travel, in part, because I love to test my language skills.

Learning new languages has positively impacted my life and I want to share that with you so that when you are sitting in your favorite rocking chair, in old age, you will have stories that are so good to tell.

While at university, I studied Public Health Science on the pre-med track. I conducted laboratory research in environmental health science and was published in a major science journal for novel research in the field and completed an Honors Thesis.
