As a music teacher I mostly work with students' singing skills which involves voice control and projection but also intonation. Apart from the voice quality, pronunciation is important so the audience can understand what the song conveys. It is fun!

Intérêts: Apart from teaching adults, I have also worked as a kindergarten instructor in the north of England (Bradford) and also served as a volunteer choir master and music teacher with young people in rural Ethiopia (Zway, East Shoa) over eight summers. I try to help pupils improve their language skills through music and song. It is fun!

I have a theoretical base but my goal is a practical framework. I want my students to enjoy lessons, learn and feel confident. Recently a former student thanked me for helping her "stand on her feet and express herself in public" (her words).
