兴趣: I'm British but have lived and taught in a number of different countries. I have extensive teaching experience with children of all ages and levels. I enjoy teaching integrated skills, including 21st Century skills. I believe these are especially crucial for our younger learners. I'm always happy when we are developing language skills via a topic or subject based lesson, such as science, history, literature geography etc.
I live in Turkey with my cats and dog. I love animals and nature and regularly include these topics in my lessons too!
I believe that if kids are interested in something and have the confidence, then they are ready to learn anything. That's my job, really: to engage and build self-confidence and self-esteem, then guide my learners through the process of learning and reflective practice so that they can build up not only their English language skills and knowledge, but also their ability to become powerful, autonomous learners!
