As an ESL teacher at Yázigi, I created interactive lessons for students learning English. I facilitated language learning through a variety of instructional techniques including comprehensible input, total physical response, and use of realia.

As a substitute teacher I followed and adapted lesson plans, implemented classroom management strategies, and provided in-class and at-home assignments in accordance with lesson plans.

Student Teaching

As a student teacher, I created and implemented lesson plans. I also incorporated various instructional strategies including traditional lecture, cooperative learning, and project-bases learning.

Intérêts: When I am not teaching, I love to spend my time playing guitar or lifting weights. I love to read and write, I spend much of my time outdoors, and I am also a student of Brazilian jiu jitsu. I really enjoy traveling abroad and meeting new people, cultures, and learning new languages. I am currently learning Portuguese as a second language, and I would love to learn Greek as well!
