I write what words and sounds I hear in a video and time it to the video so that someone who isn't hearing the soundtrack can still access the programming.

Interests: I studied Irish traditional song as an undergrad and plan to continue that postgrad. I like the social and cultural aspects of studying traditional music and am interested in society and culture beyond music as well. Although I got good grades in science courses in secondary school, my true passion is the humanities.

This degree is in Irish song performance and also involved a thesis on Irish song outside of Ireland and courses on other world musics.
