Interests: I grew up in New Mexico in the USA for most of my life. I moved to Arizona about 5 years ago to study history for my doctorate. I absolutely love history, specifically early modern European and Ottoman history. I have always loved to read and write, which are both my strong suits.

As mentioned above, I am a history major in college currently. I have been teaching history for 7 years. I am a very strong writer and love to help people write better in English.

I am currently studying Turkish and am at the intermediate level. I received the Fulbright scholarship to work on my dissertation in Istanbul, and also just received the American Research Institute in Turkey's Scholarship to study Turkish at Bogazaci this summer.

I love learning about other cultures and history, so I would love to learn more about you and where you are from. I also love music and singing, so let's share songs!
