I was a lifeguard in New Zealand for over 3 years. It taught me many life skills and even took me overseas where I worked at a kids camp in America as a lifeguard.

Swim Instructing

I worked for my local council as a lifeguard which then led me to opportunities such as swim instructing for the school community. I enjoyed being able to teach kids a skill that was useful for safety especially in New Zealand.

I worked at an organic store in New Zealand for over 3 years. I started from the very bottom as a shop cleaner and worked my way up to being a department manager. I really enjoyed gaining new skills and building my experience.

I have a passion for travel which has shown me the great importance of language and how much we use it to communicate. I love teaching English and I hope my lessons can build confidence and courage.

I studied Education Psychology at university where I discovered my passion for teaching. I realized my career path was on the wrong track so I didn't finish my bachelor's. Now I have begun my path as a teacher and I absolutely love it.
