I have been working as a substitute teacher for a few months now while I passed my exam in the state of Texas to teach! With substituting I wanted to see if I would like this new direction I felt i was being led to and I absolutely did.

I worked in the Social Services department for many years, specifically infectious disease. My company specialized in mental health and I was also very much educated in this area and a lot of my job dealt with psychology and counseling.

Intereses: I was born In New York, then moved to Pakistan for 4 years, and then to Houston, until now! So I was pretty much born and raised in America, but the little touch of the East in my childhood definitely helped me be stay close to my eastern roots and also be integrated in the west. I have been traveling since I was 6 months old, first destination was London, and have not stopped since then! I love being able to see the different cultures the world has to offer, and learning different wisdom and knowledge from the different cultures.
Fitness has always been another huge key in my life, incorporating healthy foods in the diet, and also exercising! I am also a prayer warrior :) Having Hope keeps the light on :)
I finished College when I was 23, and then worked many years! After working many years in social services, I decided to have a shift in my career and that shift was teaching :)
