I taught language and content classes for immigrant students at a middle school in Baltimore, Maryland.

Intérêts: I grew up in the United States in a multilingual and multicultural family, which is where my curiosity and appreciation for other cultures, languages, and walks of life comes from. I speak Spanish and am a beginning learner of Russian, which has deepened my empathy and respect for the struggles and handwork my students put in to learning English. In my free time I love to read novels, listen to podcasts, cook delicious food for my family and friends, and go running and hiking the great outdoors.
