兴趣: Hello, My name is Lani, and I currently reside in the United States, specifically the beautiful state of Florida. While I come from the southern part of the US, my accent is pretty neutral, making it easy for my students to understand and connect with my tone and speech. My passion lies in helping individuals with pronunciation and everyday conversational language, ensuring that they speak naturally and confidently, without sounding robotic or rehearsed.

Beyond teaching, I am deeply enthusiastic about the outdoors and enjoy activities like hiking, running, and roller skating. My love for nature extends to taking care of indoor and outdoor plants; my home is practically a little forest! I also enjoy listening to all different types of music such as J-pop, House music, Indie Rock, and many more. I also find joy in traveling and have explored various states, immersing myself in diverse cultures, local dialects, and accents. Understanding these nuances can be invaluable for anyone interested in navigating formal and informal conversations across different parts of the US.

I've had the pleasure of gaining some informal tutoring experiences that are very close to my heart. You see, I have a few siblings residing in the Dominican Republic and Peru, and every other weekend, we call each other and have English practice sessions together. These moments are truly special to me, as they not only provide a chance to improve their language skills but also allow me to share my life experiences here in the US while eagerly learning about their lives in other parts of the world. I do admit, I miss them dearly, and each conversation we share is a cherished moment that brings immense joy to my life.

As someone passionate about connecting with people from various backgrounds and cultures, and coming from a multicultural family with ties to the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Peru, and Brazil. This experience fuels my excitement to create a comfortable, calm, and informative learning environment for my students.
