Interests: I have lived in the United States my entire life, primarily in the Midwest. I grew up on a farm and love animals! I currently have two large Labradors, Sunny & Néra. I love to cook French cuisine and crochet in my spare time. I am very passionate about languages and linguistics and have spent over a decade dedicating myself to learning several. Currently, I am working on Hebrew and Russian because I enjoy the challenge of a non-Latin-based orthography. I have spent most of my professional career working within the university system in the US. I have taught language courses including French, Spanish, and American Sign Language. I also worked as an academic editor and translator for conference presentations, dissertations, thesis papers, etc. in fields including medical biology, communications, nursing, business, and English literature. I also worked in admissions within the university system and am very familiar with the application process and financial aid aspects of applications. Outside of the university system I have worked in retail, restaurants, agriculture, graphic design, tutoring, and healthcare.
