Between 2004 and 2012, I taught English to first-year undergraduates at a University Medical College in China. I also taught young doctors and administration staff. The work was varied and developed me as a person and a teacher.

In 2012 I started work at a Chinese vocational school, teaching youngsters aged 15 to 16 who were aiming at a career in business or education. I did this for 3 years and the work challenged me and made me develop new approaches to my teaching work.

In 2015 I went back to teaching first-year undergraduates at a Chinese business college. Mostly these students were aiming at a career in teaching, but a few hoped to go into business or become interpreters.

In 2017 I spent one year working as an English teacher at a Chinese International School. I returned to the UK in 2018 for personal family reasons.

관심 분야: I am a passionate Star Wars fan, but I like a lot of movies and TV shows and enjoy talking about them, sharing thoughts and opinions. It's a great way to communicate! In my time I have been an actor, a writer, and a teacher in the classroom. I lived and worked in China for almost 15 years, and have also visited Thailand and Cambodia. Also several European countries including France, Italy and the Netherlands. I am literally interested in everything including science, history and current affairs.
