Intérêts: I am a middle-aged (okay, getting older) American woman currently living in the South of Brazil. I love hiking, running, snowboarding, and bodyboarding. I enjoy backpacking and camping. I practice yoga regularly. I love music, especially live music, of almost any type, but my favorites are classic rock, reggae, and MPB.

I have traveled to Brazil, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, and several Caribbean islands. I am conversational in Brazilian Portuguese and am learning more every day. I also know a little Spanish and very little bit of French. I love traveling and meeting people from different cultures as it gives me such a wonderful perspective of the world and it encourages reflection on my own culture and native language.
