Interests: I am a native speaker of American English with no regional accent. I have a B.S. in Biology from Centenary College of Louisiana; I live near Atlanta, Georgia. I am a professional actress with SAG-AFTRA. As I have 20 years of experience as an actress and educator, I am very comfortable teaching/speaking with large or small groups of people. I am an avid reader, writer, and speaker of English; presently, I am learning Japanese, Chinese, French, Arabic, and Hebrew. I was born in Newport News, Virginia, United States. My family moved to Germany when I was two years old as my dad was in the United States Army. My family and I spent four years in Europe. I made friends from all over the world and enjoyed learning about new cultures and new perspectives. I moved back to the United States at the age of six years old and I have lived in the U.S. for 42 years. My eclectic background in science, writing, speaking, and acting enables me to give my students both the technical know-how of how to do presentations for business, arts, education, as well as speak naturally in day-to-day conversations. I have taught privately to both children and adults: English, SAT Prep, poetry, Shakespeare, acting for film/series, and novel writing. I thoroughly enjoy helping people learn to express themselves and reach their academic goals. I heard about Cambly through Tutorjob.
