I use my English language skills to tutor, proof read, write creatively and translate into English for a variety of clients. I I have translated a book for publication and am teaching a number of international students English.

Over a long career in hospital Pharmacy I trained and mentored all grades of staff from Pre-registration students through to Senior Clinicians. I helped prepare people for interview, presentations and improve spoken and written English.

Intérêts: I combine a passion for travel with a lifelong interest in wildlife, culture and music. Through meeting locals I've been able to experience amazing sights and sounds in the countries I've visited. I've travelled through Asia, the Middle East, Central America, Canada, Europe, Africa and visited New Zealand. As well as being a nature lover I’m fascinated by city life and enjoy exploring them through gigs, nightlife, galleries, restaurants and getting myself lost at the first opportunity.
I also am a confirmed reader of many genres of books and this feeds my love of words and language. In part my reading inspires my own writing, which I express through a blog I set up to help me practice and also inform others about various topics I’m interested in including the two places I live- Türkiye and London.
I am currently learning Turkish which helps me see language teaching from the students side.

This qualified me as a Pharmacy Technician setting me off onto a senior career as a Chief Technician then Operations Manager. My staff training responsibilities ranged from junior Pharmacists through to senior clinicians and overseas visitors.

This qualified me to train and assess student Pharmacy Technicians in their written, practical and oral coursework.

A2 Turkish language certificate

I recently passed the intermediate Turkish language qualification endorsed by the national Education department.
