I have worked as a high school teacher for 24 years. I have taught Latin 1-4AP, Greek and Latin roots, SAT and PSAT preparation, World History, and US History.

Professional Learning Community Lead
Education
I develop curriculum and write common assessments based on our standards. I coach teachers, so they can close the gaps of student learning through their instructional practice. I collaborate with the team to achieve the team and campus goals.

Department Chair
Education
I supervised two different groups of teachers on campus to meet campus goals and align with district expectations for 6 years.
As part of the team of department chairs, I worked closely with administration to develop campus policy and procedures.

İlgi Alanları: I was born in California, and my family moved all over the United States while I was growing up, including Puerto Rico. I have lived in various parts of Texas for most of my life. I do not have children, but my husband and I have two cats, who have entertaining personalities.
I have traveled to London, Italy, Mexico, and several Caribbean islands, as well as many places in the United States. Most recently, I traveled to Alaska, where the landscapes are quite gorgeous and the people were so friendly!
My hobbies include reading, crochet and swimming. I love spending time with my family and friends! My husband and I like to visit museums, go to the theater, watch movies, enjoy watching soccer, and trying new cuisines. I also love learning about history and other cultures.

I studied the language, history and culture of the ancient Romans in order to teach Latin to high school and college students.

I added learning ancient Greek. I read and analyzed ancient Roman and Greek literature in my classes.

MEd in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies
Education
I studied the topics on educational leadership as well as prepared to become a principal.
