I worked as a Business Manager for a non-profit at Virginia Tech. I was in charge of finances, running daily tasks, as well as managing communications for the business. I also worked with college students, offering them guidance and conversation.

Native English Teacher in South Korea

I taught English in S. Korea for a year in an elementary school, ages eight to 12. I designed lesson plans for class and afterschool clubs for students of varying grade levels and interests. If the students loved music, I taught English music class.

Public Speaking GTA at Virginia Tech
Education
I taught Public Speaking to undergraduate college students. I focused on making them feel comfortable, so they can grow in their confidence of speaking in front of people of any number.

Intereses: I currently live in the mountains of Virginia. I spend my free time reading, baking, cooking, or just hanging out with friends. Music is very important to me, and I grew up singing and dancing. While I love to travel, I have been limited to mostly around the USA and Switzerland to study abroad. I did have an amazing opportunity to move to South Korea and teach English in an elementary school just over two years ago; I speak some Korean but am definitely out of practice. I also taught Public Speaking to college students. I love working with people of all ages and cultures, and I can't wait to hear about you!

I received a Master's in Communication from Virginia Tech. There I focused on religious, crisis, children's, and social media communications. While earning my degree, I also was a Public Speaking GTA and lead two classes of 40 students each semester.

I graduated with a Bachelor's of Communication in Multimedia Journalism from Virginia Tech. I also studied Creative Writing and Popular Culture to round out my degree.
