In this role I managed a team of twelve staff across four residential and nursing homes. Our job was to provide the residents of the home with an engaging, meaningful and fun programme of activities and events.

In this role I would be required to visit workplaces to complete health questionnaires, run audiometry tests, run spirometry tests and eye tests. I would then discuss the results with the employee and the employer and advice on necessary actions.

Interests: My biggest passion in life is travel. When I am not travelling, I am talking about travelling or dreaming about travelling. I love meeting new people and sharing experiences.

My second biggest passion is playing or watching sports. The sports that I love most are; football, tennis, squash, hiking, scuba diving, chess, golf, badminton, beach tennis, formula one.

I am also an avid reader, and this year I am taking part in a challenge to read 26 books. I was also a reading buddy for two years where I helped students improve their English language skills.

I adore animals and spent a year volunteering at a local animal sanctuary. I also volunteered for a year at the local primary school to help any students that were struggling. This included helping them with reading, writing, speaking and mathematics.

I completed my degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology achieving an Upper Class 2:1. This involved gaining an understanding in the importance of nutrition and exercise on the body and mind as well as learning key psychological theories.

I chose to study psychology, French and physical education for my A-Levels.

Counselling Level 2
Mental Health
I completed a level 2 in counselling. This course helps you to build interpersonal skills such as empathy, active listening and unconditional positive regard. The skills learnt in this course are transferable to the tutoring process.
