As a social justice journalist, I write about identity, culture, and issues concerning the environment and our communities.

My work has been published in NACLA, Latina Media, Hip Latina, Palabra, Latino Rebels, Green Left, and El Adoquín Times.

兴趣: I'm originally from New York City and have lived in beautiful Borikén (our Indigenous name) since 30 Nov 2021, where I focus on making my impact in the world as a freedom fighter, cultural ambassador, spoken word artist, social justice journalist, language tutor, translator and community cultivator. As a big fan of languages, I learned to speak Spanish, French, Turkish, and Italian, with just a little bit of Greek and Kiswahili - so I know how it can sometimes feel scary to learn a new language.

Since I'm an optimistic person, one of my mottos in life is 'learn to laugh at yourself and enjoy the journey.'

In the past, I have taught Spanish in private and small group settings as well as offered conversational English tutoring several years ago in New York City.

For fun, I like to dance tango, write poetry, and practice yoga in nature.
