I worked as an ESL Teacher and Corporate Trainer in China and Taiwan from 2004 to 2018. I won two awards for my teaching. One was from Web International English and the other was from Shandong University at Weihai.

In 2010, I co-founded and ran my own small consulting company in Qingdao for one year. The name was Aspire Consulting Limited. It didn't last long, but it was a great learning experience!

兴趣: I'm originally from New York City, although I left when I was 13. My grandparents are originally from Italy, but I can't speak any Italian. Aside from NYC, I've lived in Florida, Seattle, Idaho, and Iowa. I also lived in Mainland China and Taiwan from 2004 to 2018. I'm kind of a nerd since I love science fiction, fantasy, and horror. In my free time, I love movies, books, video games when I'm indoors, along with hiking and kayaking when I'm outdoors. I'm an aspiring creative writer, which balances out the not-so-creative accounting I have to do in my 9-to-5 life.
