Intérêts: I'm from Fayetteville, Arkansas in the United States. Since I was young, my passion has been traveling and exploring different cultures. In high school, I moved to Switzerland as an exchange student without knowing a single word of French. The first few weeks were so scary! After a few months I started to fit in and make friends. After a full year people were asking me which part of Switzerland I was from because my fluency and accent had become so good. Full immersion helped me understand what it's like to learn a completely new language. After high school, I relocated to South America, immersing myself in a new culture and language once again. This time it wasn't as hard to learn a new language because I was no longer embarrassed to make mistakes or ask for help. I still love traveling and have visited 23 countries, where I continue to learn new customs, traditions, and languages. When traveling I love doing language exchanges with local residents where we are able to help teach each other. I love to meet people from other countries and look forward to speaking with you soon!
