I wrote the "Self-Study Report", the main component for the accreditation bid of the English Language Institute at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ELI was accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation.

Over the years, I have taught ESL in Brazil, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Saudi Arabia and Japan. I was also called on periodically to teach at KAU following our successful accreditation bid.

I reported for trade papers, including The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, and freelanced for various consumer publications. Based in Tokyo and then New York, I also worked on daily newspapers in Abu Dhabi and Jeddah.

兴趣: I currently live in a small and very beautiful town in Mexico. where I am writing a book about some of my travels. I like to learn new languages, and I like to travel. I have visited almost all of South America, parts of Asia (including Japan) and the Middle East. In my spare time I like to go to the movies, play basketball, meet with my friends and study Spanish. I used to write about the film industry for various publications so I really love movies. I have a pet cat but, to be honest, I would prefer to have a dog. I also like to watch American football and soccer on TV. I am comfortable with beginner, intermediate and advanced students.
