I am a professional potter who produces pots to sell and I also teach ceramics to adults at a local non-profit art centre. My classes teach pottery hand building and pottery on the wheel skills to beginner and intermediate students.

In 2004 I lived in Spain for 3 months as an English teacher. Using a mixture of conversation, immersion, and formal lessons I taught English to a family of three (two adults and one child)

Education
From 2013 to 2021 I worked at a rural art & nature school where I held several positions. The first two years of my employment I was a teaching assistant for ages 3 to 14. I later served as the school's lead administrator and coordinator.

兴趣: ⭐ 2025 update (to my repeat students ❤️)⭐
Since moving back to my home I am very busy running my pottery business, and I unfortunately do not have much free time to be on Cambly now. I have really enjoyed getting to know each of you this winter and have valued our many wonderful conversations!
I am not sure when I will be able to return to offering more Cambly hours, but I hope we will meet again when I do. In the meantime I wish each of you the greatest success in your English learning journey.

Hi! I’m Etta. I live in the forests of Eastern Canada. As well as English tutoring I am also a professional potter / ceramicist.

With my partner and two dogs I live “off grid” (our electricity comes from solar power). We built our own house using trees from our forest, and straw and clay. I have learned a lot about building and I love projects that involve using my hands!

I am passionate about conservation ecology, forest restoration, wildlife, gardening and growing food.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, cycling, playing my fiddle, travelling, meeting new people, and making functional art.
I am also very happy to sit in a comfy chair with a good book and a cup of tea.
