since moving to japan last year I have been teaching english to various ages of people in japan from school children to retired people, i teach at a language school in nishi-shinjuku it's a lot of fun!

兴趣: Probably what you will learn pretty quickly about me is that I love music! I am a piano player, beat maker/audio engineer, and piano teacher by background. I love playing and listening to jazz, Japanese film and video game music, Okinawan folk songs, Balinese gamelan, Ethiopian music – I love how we can learn about culture through it.

Since moving to Japan, I developed a passion for teaching English as it's also a way to learn about different cultures and a very rewarding experience. I was lucky enough to grow up in a Spanish-speaking household, so I've been speaking English and Spanish since I was a baby (I like to say I got Spanish for free).

I have a passion for learning Japanese as I am currently living in japan and travelling on the working holiday visa.

I studied at Sydney Conservatorium of Music from 2014 to 2018 doing my bachelors degree in jazz performance, I also wrote an honours thesis in my final year about Okinawan, Indonesian, and Ethiopian music! it was a great way to learn about culture
