İlgi Alanları: I am lucky to live in a country with beautiful countryside and fascinating culture. I love travelling in Turkey and to different countries, visiting museums, hiking in the mountains, going on a motorbike road trip, camping, and trying new food. I enjoy reading. My favourite genre is detective fiction but I like any book that is well-written and can take me on a mental journey. Novels about family and personal relationships also intrigue me. I am also interested in saving our planet (just a small ambition). I once set up a project to feed disadvantaged schoolchildren by reselling second-hand clothes and fashion items, and I am still involved in the circular economy. **
I have a very diverse professional background, spanning big corporation HQs all the way to starting up my own business. I have been involved in the real estate industry, a yacht charter business, I ran a children’s café and I have worked for big technology and marketing companies. Alongside teaching, I currently work for a company that provides in-depth industry insights to investment firms, which gives me knowledge into all types of industries in all parts of the world, whether online shopping in Indonesia or the latest technology startups in North America.

I studied at the University of Manchester in northern England. Among my favourite courses was the Film & Media Studies module, where we examined movies such as Full Metal Jacket, and the link between popular media, propaganda and foreign policy.
