A few years ago I bought an old van which I converted into a motorhome and left the UK to find a place in the sunshine that I can call home.
I spend most of my time living and working in nature. I have a passion for plants, I study herbal medicine and I sell my products at market.
Over the last couple of years I have planted around 15,000 trees in Canada and Portugal.
I have worked with young people since the age of 13 when I began my career in youth engagement as a peer educator, designing and delivering projects working with targeted youth.
I continued my career in education and communication as a radio presenter, public speaker and university lecturer.
As an artist I have organised and delivered hundreds of workshops to people of all ages. I have exhibited my photography work internationally and have been on tour a number of times as a tour manager and musician.
After spending time in Greece, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Macedonia, Former Yugoslavia, Canada, India, Japan, and The United States, I understand how easy it is to feel overwhelmed and intimidated when speaking with a native speaker of a foreign language.
It takes a lot of courage to commit to learning a language and I commend you for taking these steps to improve your ability to understand the world and it's people. You will not regret this decision.
I currently live between a mud house and my motorhome in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in Europe.
