Intérêts: It might help you to know that I was highly motivated to improve my Spanish skills when I married a Costa Rican man. It was particularly important because I wanted my mother-in-law to like me.
To my dismay, I found that I seemed to have a block when it came to understanding her Spanish. It took a little dedication and time, but I have finally overcome that.
