Intérêts: I am an (almost) 24 year old that graduated from university in 2018 with a Bachelor's in History. This is an interest I still maintain, at the moment I'm reading the excellent "Black and British: A Forgotten History" by David Olusoga.
In the time since I graduated I have worked abroad in Spain, Italy, and most recently Poland. I have been a student myself, in Spain I went to a language academy and managed to pick up enough to have a conversation beyond "uno cervesa, por favor." I've definitely been humbled by Polish though! I think it's good to remind myself as a teacher how challenging it is to learn another language.
My main passion outside of work and education is music, I play guitar, sing, and write and produce my own material. I'm hoping to start gigging once it's viable again.
I'm continuing my university eduction through starting a Master's in Journalism from September, which I'm looking forward to. This will mean that this summer will be when I have the most hours, however I'm happy to let this continue as a part-time job if there is enough interest.
