兴趣: My background in language: Since 1991 I have been involved with foreign language study and also I have been very active, particularly since 1996, in researching and using the internet for the purpose of language development and in sharing language acquisition ideas with many people from around the world.
I have shared many of my own ideas with other language learners and also with language teachers in other countries (especially teachers of English).
Some years ago (in 1999) I was an international chatroom host/administrator. (English/French and English/German) I did this for several hours a week for five years and I spoke and shared ideas on language with many people from a large number of different countries.
In 2008 I also had my own online podcast for sharing ideas for language development.
Since 2020, I have been holding online regular weekly seminars using the Tencent Meeting application Voov(腾讯会议), as well as using Wechat (微信）with Chinese students of English of all ages. To date (January 2025), I have tutored more than 600 hours of Cambly lessons， and hosted 300 hours of online seminars in English and Mandarin.
I can share my philosophy of language learning. Maybe you will agree with it:-
